Based in Queensland, Synergex values strong client partnerships to achieve success across all project phases.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Civil Estimator, based in Townsville or Brisbane, QLD, with opportunities to work from home. As a Civil Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, analyzing project risks, reviewing tender documents, and liaising with clients, suppliers, and subcontractors. Key responsibilities include participating in bid preparation, tracking industry pricing, conducting site visits, and providing input into project planning and resource allocation. You will work closely with the project team to ensure the financial viability and cost-effective delivery of projects while maintaining compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.QualificationsProficiency in cost estimation, budget preparation, and analyzing project documentationSkills in tender proposal development, subcontractor liaison, and supplier negotiationsUnderstanding of project planning, risk assessment, and resource allocation methodologiesKnowledge of civil construction processes, materials, and relevant industry standardsStrong communication, negotiation, and stakeholder engagement skillsProficiency with estimation tools, project management software, and Microsoft Office suiteTertiary qualifications in quantity surveying, civil engineering, construction management, or a related fieldPrevious experience in the construction, infrastructure, or resources industries is advantageousA commitment to safety, quality assurance, and environmental sustainabilityPrevious experience working with regional councils and Local government highly considered
