Job Description
Due to ongoing expansion of our Community Housing activities Social Futures is looking to appoint to the position of Asset Manager Community Housing. The position will provide asset management services across our existing and expanding portfolio. The role will also be part of a growing team focused on delivering new build projects with significant opportunity to influence design from a whole of life and sustainability perspective.
Whilst the office location is Lismore, we are open to talking to candidates across Northern NSW ad South Gold Coast for this opportunity.
Within this role you will be responsible for:
* Manage and direct the delivery of community housing assets and facilities
* Determine and oversee the implementation of asset strategies in line with the Asset Management Plan that best utilise available funding, and at the same time, meeting the needs of the organization's clients
* Provide technical advice and reporting to the Board, CEO and Operations Staff in the management of all asset related issues.
* Contribute to strategic and business planning processes within the organisation to ensure that plans are informed by high quality service strategy advice and a focus on customer needs

Desired Skills and Experience
For this position, we will be looking for the below experience:
* Tertiary qualifications or equivalent senior experience in Asset Management, Facilities Management, Property or related discipline
* Extensive experience leading and delivering asset management services, including leading improvements in service delivery
* Proven experience in project management; social housing, facilities management and, management of contracts and contractors
* A sound working knowledge of WHS and Quality Assurance principles/systems, and practical knowledge of and experience with compliance to Australian Building Standards and relevant building legislation
