If you’re ready to bring power under control and join a team that values innovation, integrity and technical excellence, Qub is where you belong.

The Role

The Senior Engineer (Integrated Engineering & Services) will be responsible for delivering high-quality design documentation, engineering studies, and technical support across Qub’s operational and asset portfolios. - Engineering Analysis: Undertake protection coordination studies, arc flash assessments, and fault current calculations. Use software like PowerCAD, ETAP, or equivalent for load flow and protection analysis and prepare qualified technical reports that drive actionable solutions.
- Project & Technical Support: Work collaboratively with project managers, site teams, and subcontractors, providing technical support during construction and testing to ensure design intent is maintained and solutions meet client needs. Assist in developing standard design templates and calculation methodologies.
- Quality & Systems: Contribute to quality reviews and documentation control. Lead or support continuous improvement aligned with ISO9001 (Quality) and ISO27001 (Security), enhancing traceability and design integrity.

Skills & Experience

You must have

- Demonstrated experience producing electrical design documentation and studies.
- Competence in AutoCAD Electrical and PowerCAD (or similar software).
- Strong understanding of LV and MV distribution systems, switchboards, and protection schemes.
- Proven ability to interpret and apply relevant Australian and international electrical standards and client specifications.

Nice to have

- Experience with arc flash and coordination analysis software (e.g., ETAP).
- Knowledge of PLC or control system integration design.
- Understanding of power monitoring, metering, or power quality systems.
- A Bachelor of Electrical Engineering qualification.

Personal Attributes

- Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality and compliance, ensuring solutions you can bank on.
- Collaborative and proactive in resolving technical challenges with a strong sense of ownership.
- Comfortable managing multiple deliverables in parallel in a high-paced environment.
- Supportive of working onsite, outer metro, and interstate as required.
