The Role
The Project Manager is responsible for the co‑ordination and follow‑through to completion of all aspects of projects and, to this end, will perform a variety of tasks including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring and summarising progress of the project.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage and lead BMS / HVAC projects from initiation to completion, ensuring adherence to project plans, timelines, and budgetary constraints.
* Collaborate with clients to understand their requirements, develop project scopes, and define deliverables.
* Coordinate with internal teams and external stakeholders to ensure effective project execution and successful delivery.
* Prepare project schedules, resource allocation plans, and cost estimates.
* Monitor project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and develop mitigation strategies.
* Conduct regular project status meetings, communicate updates to stakeholders, and ensure effective communication channels throughout the project lifecycle.
* Manage project documentation, including contracts, technical specifications, and change orders.
* Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely procurement of required equipment and materials.
* Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning activities, ensuring adherence to project requirements and client expectations.
* Provide technical support and guidance to the project team, troubleshooting any technical issues that arise during the project.
Requirements
* Proven experience within a similar role as a Project Manager within the BMS or HVAC industry.
* Develop and deliver margin improvement strategies.
* Ability to develop and implement budgets.
* Strong leadership and management skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
