Overview
My client is seeking a driven and analytical Senior Finance Analyst to join the Group FP&A team. Sitting within the Group Consolidation function, this role is pivotal in delivering high-quality financial insights, consolidated reporting, and improved processes that support strategic decision-making at an enterprise level. This is an exciting opportunity to join a high-performing finance team and play a key role in consolidating budgets, forecasts and reporting across the group.
Key Responsibilities:
• Consolidate group financial results for monthly and yearly reporting cycles
• Enhance consolidation processes for improved accuracy and efficiency to optimise month end reporting
• Assist in preparation and review of annual budgets, forecasts and variance analyses for the group
• Lead projects to improve financial reporting, automation and systems across the FP&A function
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to define process improvements and reporting efficiency
• Identify continuous improvement initiatives using analytics to drive outcomes
Required Skills & Qualifications:
* Tertiary qualification in accounting, finance or economics
* CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent) or working towards
* Proven experience with end-of-month reporting and financial process improvement in a large corporate environment
* Experience in preparing reporting and presentation decks & working with large sets of data
* Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills and familiarity with ERP systems (PowerBI, and Oracle GL highly regarded)
* Strong knowledge of financial consolidation, budgeting, forecasting and variance analysis
* Ability to lead process automation projects and support data integration and automation initiatives
