Status: Part Time (25hrs p/w) and Casual positions available

Location: Launceston and surrounds
About The Role:
* Permanent part time and casual roles available
* Collection of pathology specimens from patients in our collection rooms, hospitals and as part of domiciliary services
* Store and process pathology specimens
* Patient reception and response to client enquiries
* Record patient information
* Attend to the well-being of patients
* Liaise with patients and referring doctors
* Use of laboratory application software
* No previous experience required as extensive training will be provided to the successful candidates
*Please note that this is not a courier position
Selection Criteria:
1. Ability to commit to full time training program (4-8 weeks depending upon previous experience)
2. Flexibility to cover a variety of shifts, including evening and weekend
3. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated commitment to service excellence
4. Proven ability to act independently within established guidelines, whilst demonstrating initiative and sound judgement
5. A current unrestricted Australian driver's licence
6. Exceptional skills in applying attention to detail
