General ledger, forecasting, reconciling and end of month are all part of your vocabulary.
We're seeking an employee with a track record of succeeding in prior roles, keen to jump into a new challenge — taking their career to the next level.
You'll be responsible for:
Maintaining and monitoring company financial budget Management of Cash flow Monthly Management Reports – including P&L, BS, Non-financial KPIs Accuracy, timeliness and discipline Accounts Payable: Timely processing of all supplier invoices Monthly reconciliation of supplier statements Scheduling and preparation of EFT batch payments.
Accounts Receivable: Debtors maintenance including follow up to ensure timely payments Daily processing of debtor receipts and supplier payments Reporting & End of Period: Assist in month-end reporting (eg balance sheet reconciliations etc) Assist with BAS and other statutory requirements Preparation of end-of-month journals and period close off Other duties as directed by the Accountant How we'll measure it:
Number of days from end of month close off Qualifications
CPA Experience with Microsoft Business Central or similar modern ERP A minimum of 3 years hands-on accounts payable and financial accounting experience Technical knowledge, skills and other requirements
Team player with a professional manner Intermediate Excel user Ability to work independently to strict reporting deadlines Attention to detail and accurate data entry Disciplined organisational skills Keen problem solver What we offer
