The opportunity
Join the team at NEO Tiling Contractors' as a Leading hand tiler. In this full-time role based in Brisbane QLD, you will play a key part in the successful delivery of tiling projects for our diverse range of commercial clients.
Key responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate a team of tilers to efficiently complete tiling work on site
- Liaise with clients, project managers and other trades to ensure seamless project delivery
- Ensure all work is completed to the highest standard and in accordance with industry best practices and safety regulations
- Provide on-site training and mentoring to junior tilers
- Contribute to the development of innovative tiling solutions and techniques
What we're looking for
- Minimum 6 years' experience as a qualified and experienced tiler, with significant time in a leading hand or supervisory role - if applying for leading hand position
- Minimum 4 years' experience as a qualified tiler - for tradesman position
- Excellent knowledge of tiling materials, methods and industry standards
- Strong leadership, communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret plans, specifications and work instructions
- Keen attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Current driver's licence and reliable transportation
- Construction Industry White Card (or ability to obtain)
