Saalex is seeking a Navy Maintenance Systems Engineer. Saalex is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Navy Maintenance Systems Engineer to join our dynamic team.
Position Type: Full time/Contingent
Salary: $80K-$250K (depending on experience)
Work Location: Fully remote.
Responsibilities
- The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in IT integration, business processes, technical solutions, data analytics, and the latest technologies such as XR (Extended Reality).
- This role involves developing and implementing advanced IT solutions to optimize logistics operations and enhance decision support systems.
- The candidate will conduct research into fundamental computer and information science as theorists, designers, or solutions integrators optimizing the application of IT.
- Develop solutions to problems in the field of computer hardware and software.
- Apply expertise to support program development, project execution, business and technical operations, strategic initiatives, and workforce development as required to support technical and organizational tasks for PMS integration within U.S. Navy operational, support, and engineering/sustainment environments.
- Assist and lead both analysis of current or in-work systems and the planning of future systems.
- Other duties as assigned or required.
Required
- At least 5 years of experience within the last 8 years in support of providing guidance and expertise for the Navy's 3M system, PMS, and interpretation and use of NAVSEAINST 4790.8D, Ships' Maintenance and Material Management Manual.
- BS/BA degree in Engineering, Computer Science/IT, or Technical discipline and 5 years of experience, OR AA/AS degree and 9 years of experience, OR HS Diploma/GED and 11 years of experience.
- Must have NAVSEA Backfit RCM or higher certification
Security Clearance
Full or Interim Secret clearance required. Requirements to obtain a clearance include US Citizenship, security investigation, etc.
Education/Experience
BA/BS degree in an Engineering, Computer Science/IT, or Technical discipline and 5 years of experience, OR AA/AS degree and 9 years of experience, OR HS Diploma/GED and 11 years of experience required.
