Therapeutic Support Professional
We are seeking skilled Therapeutic Support Professionals to join our dynamic team. This is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires empathy, resilience, and the ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
About the Role:
This position involves working in therapeutic homes providing care and support to children and young people who have experienced trauma. You will be responsible for creating a safe, nurturing environment that fosters healing and growth. Key responsibilities include building positive relationships with residents, developing and implementing individualised care plans, and collaborating with colleagues to ensure seamless service delivery.
Skills and Qualifications:
* Cert IV or higher in Youth Work, Social Work, Counselling, or a related field (completed qualification or currently enrolled)
* Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
* Current NDIS Worker Screening (Yellow Card)
* LCS2 Check (must already have one or apply during interview) AND Valid Police Check (within 12 months)
* Unrestricted QLD Driver's Licence
* Current First Aid & CPR
* Experience supporting young people with complex trauma (Highly regarded)
* Skills in case planning, behaviour support, and report writing (Desirable)
* Cultural knowledge and/or lived experience that supports an inclusive and culturally responsive approach to working with young people
