The role
Reporting to the Manager of the Marketing Teamin the Strategic Communications Branch you will be responsible for leading the development and implementation of social marketing strategies and behaviour change campaigns that encourage, engage and educate the public on preventative and public health issues. You will also be responsible for managing external suppliers in the delivery of campaign development and delivery ensuring customer focus in meeting business priorities and objectives.
Furthermore, you will be responsible for providing advice relating to all aspects of social marketing and supporting the management of the annual multi-million-dollar campaign budget effectively on behalf of the organisation ensuring appropriate return on investment.
The successful person
To be successful in the role, you will have demonstrated marketing experience, with a proven record in leading, planning, executing and evaluating social marketing campaigns and communication programs on a large scale. You will be able to demonstrate experience in identifying, building and maintaining business relationships and partnerships through effective collaboration and consultation.
In addition to this, you will have high-level project management and communication skills with a demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and negotiate outcomes at a senior management level to achieve strategic outcomes.
