We seek an experienced Behaviour Support Practitioner (Core or Proficient status) to join our team in Port Macquarie.
You will support vulnerable community members by acting as an advocate and role model, doing the following daily tasks:
* Evaluating, developing, and delivering evidence-based support plans
* Developing meaningful goals and practical strategies using a positive behaviour support framework, aiming to eliminate restrictive practices
* Building knowledge, capacity, and strengths of those supporting participants, including family, carers, and friends
* Working collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team

To be considered suitable, you will have:
* Current suitability confirmed by the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission at the Core or Proficient level
* A degree-level qualification as an allied health professional
* Excellent time management and organisational skills to manage a varied caseload
* A proactive attitude, motivated by improvement and learning from new ideas
* A genuine passion for working in the disability sector
