Lead. Deliver. Shape the future of Halls Creek.
Are you an accomplished Executive leader ready to make a measurable difference in one of Australia’s most unique and culturally rich regions? The Shire of Halls Creek is seeking a Director Infrastructure & Assets to provide vision, leadership, and strategic direction across the Shire’s infrastructure, assets, capital works, and essential service delivery.
As a key member of the Executive Leadership Team, reporting directly to the CEO, you will:
Provide strategic oversight and high‑level leadership across infrastructure planning, asset management, capital projects, and operational service delivery.
Ensure Shire assets, roads, and facilities are delivered, maintained, and managed to a high standard, meeting legislative, safety, and community expectations.
Strengthen relationships with Aboriginal communities, contractors, funding bodies, and government partners to maximise regional outcomes.
Lead multidisciplinary teams with clarity and purpose, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and respectful collaboration.
Champion planning, governance, risk management, and long‑term sustainability across all infrastructure and asset‑related activities. This is more than an Executive appointment—it's an opportunity to shape the future of Halls Creek and leave a lasting legacy.
Shortlisted applicants may be required to undertake psychometric and leadership capability assessments as part of the recruitment process. These assessments provide insight into each candidate’s leadership style, decision‑making approach, and alignment with the Shire’s values and community‑first focus.
