**About the Role**
The Manager AML Analytics will be responsible for leading the performance of AML monitoring & screening rules and the conduct of data analytics to support financial crime investigations.
You will provide advice, leadership and guidance to the FCR Data Analytics and System function and wider FCR.
Key responsibilities:
- Effectively lead the AML rules management function with performance reviews, innovation in detection and governance as key focus areas.
- Ensuring the AML data analytics capability support risk discovery and investigation functions in the wider AML ops team.
- Contributing to the implementation of the FCR Data Strategy in support of the Senior Manager to deliver a central data mart, analytics tools bench and analytics insights in a 12-24 month horizon.
- Remain up to date with emerging financial crime data use cases and technology.
**About you**
As well as technical and analytical skills you will have the mentoring and leadership skills to help your team thrive. You will also demonstrate;
- Proven experience in an AML / Fraud / KYC environment
- Demonstrated sound knowledge of AML / CTF legislation and Fraud risk management
- Demonstrated knowledge of contemporary data control and governance frameworks - including external regulatory expectations.
- Prior experience within a medium sized financial services institution
- Strong operational experience preferably within the financial crime operations environment
- Demonstrated stakeholder engagement and management abilities, including liaising with business partners.
- Highly developed analytical and problem solving skills
- Excellent negotiation skill
