Job Overview
The role of Media and Communications Officer is a key position within the organisation, responsible for designing and implementing communications and engagement plans for important events and significant project milestones in the region.
This includes collaborating with the Executive team to project manage the development of the Council's regional plan and content for the annual report. Additionally, the successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing, creating, designing and curating the organisation's social media presence, requiring strong digital skills.
This is a remote, flexible role that can be based out of the Katherine Regional office or worked from anywhere. Regular travel to remote communities in the region will also be required to build relationships with the community and cover events.
