Senior Veterinary Nurse – Full Time

The Role
As a Senior Veterinary Nurse, you will play a key leadership role within the nursing team, supporting both clinical operations and day-to-day clinic workflow. You will work closely with our veterinarians and nursing staff to ensure the highest standard of patient care.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-level veterinary nursing care across all areas of the clinic
- Lead and support junior nurses in their clinical development
- Perform and oversee anaesthetic monitoring and surgical nursing
- IV catheter placement, blood collection, and advanced patient care
- Maintain accurate and thorough medical records
- Ensure strict adherence to infection control and hospital cleanliness standards
- Support client communication and education with professionalism and empathy
- Assist in maintaining efficient clinic workflow and standards of care
About You
- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (essential)
- Significant experience in veterinary nursing, ideally with senior or leadership exposure
- Confident in all aspects of anaesthesia monitoring and surgical support
- Strong clinical skills including IV catheter placement and venipuncture
- Excellent communication and client relationship skills
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Ability to lead by example and support a positive team culture
- Calm, capable, and confident in a fast-paced environment
