The Opportunity
We have exciting new opportunities for skilled Rail Traction Linesworkers across Brisbane due to our strong pipeline of work and continued growth of our Overhead Wiring Team.
1. Work at heights on rail-connected 1500V overhead wiring without supervision.
2. Work within Safe Approach Distances (SADs) specified for Accredited Persons when working around electrical equipment.
3. Quantify, control, receipt and issue of materials required for timely project completion.
4. Transport tools, materials and work pieces to and from sites or workbenches.
5. Clean and prepare working surfaces and maintain housekeeping for work areas.
6. Participate in regular learning and development programs to enhance skills and improve capabilities.
1. Trade qualified Rail Traction Linesworker experience, both AC & DC.
2. Ability to read complex drawings and interpret requirements.
3. Relevant Construction Card (White Card).
4. Rail Industry Worker (RIW) Card.
5. Driver's License.
6. Tickets and Licenses: EWP, First Aid, RIW, Dogman, Rigger.
7. Capable of obtaining qualifications to work at heights and in confined spaces.
8. Demonstrated experience in key responsibilities and accountabilities of the role.
