The Town is seeking a qualified Aquatic Duty Manager to join their dynamic team on a full‐time, permanent basis.
You will work with the Aquatic Team to oversee daily operations of the South Hedland Aquatic Centre and Gatwick Aquatic Centre, partnering with the Coordinator and Supervisor to operate facilities in line with Council policy and Department of Health regulations, and to provide a safe, engaging environment for guests.
Work Related Requirements
* Operate a Group 1 leisure facility in accordance with Section 6.2 of the Code of Practice for the Design, Construction, Operations, Management and Maintenance of Aquatic Facilities
* Current RLSSWA Pool Lifeguard accreditation
* LIWA Aquatics Accreditation (hold or be willing to obtain)
* Current First Aid
* Operate breathing apparatus qualifications (hold or be willing to obtain)
* WA Working with Children Card (hold or be willing to obtain)
* Working rights in Australia
* National Police Clearance (or willing to obtain)
* C Class drivers' licence

* Pool Lifeguard Award
* First Aid Certificate
* Aquatic Technical Operator / Pool Operators Certificate
* Current Provide/Perform CPR
* Oxygen administration
* National Police / Criminal History Check
