About the Opportunity
An opportunity is now available for an enthusiastic and energetic casual Kitchen Attendant, who enjoys working in large and fast paced environment, to join our dynamic & busy kitchen team.

Your responsibilities will be to:
- Ensure the kitchen, food preparation & scullery areas are a clean and hygienic work environment
- Clean dishes, utensils and equipment
- Handle and use chemicals safely
- Operate dishwashing equipment & move catering equipment
- Lifting of heavy items & dispose of waste
- Deep clean kitchens & perform duties to a high standard
Availability to work 20 - 30 hours/ 4 to 5 shifts per week is required. The typical shift patterns are:
- 7 AM to 3PM
- 3 PM to 10 PM
What you’ll need to be successful
- Previous kitchen stewarding or cleaning experience (highly regarded)
- Previous experience using a commercial dishwasher advantageous
- General knowledge of catering equipment, cleaning and hygienic kitchen procedures
- Ability to work under pressure, to deadlines and in a rapid-paced environment
- Work well with others in a team workplace, display a friendly positive can do attitude with a willingness to learn
- Can take direction and follow instructions or work independently & show initiative
- The ability to perform the physical requirements of this role including comfortably lift up to 20kgs and performing repetitive manual tasks safely
