**About the Role**
They are currently seeking a highly motivated Administration Officer to join their team in Parramatta with the flexibility to work remotely from home 3-4 days per week. This is an estimated 11-month temporary assignment, with a potential to extend.

Working within the Office of Energy & Climate Change, you will be responsible for providing a wide range of secretariat and administrative support to the Director and team relating to Community Energy Programs to ensure effective service delivery along with supporting vulnerable households facing energy hardship

**Responsibilities**
- Deliver high level professional customer service
- Answer enquiries, providing timely and accurate responses
- Act as first point of contact on behalf of the Director
- Complete diary and travel management
- Schedule and coordinate meetings, committees, appointments and events including arranging catering, equipment and overall presentation
- Preparation of high-level documentation including agenda's, briefs, ministerial correspondence, meeting minutes, submissions, action items, reports and presentation material
- Inbox management
- Ordering stationary and maintaining office equipment
- Complete financial administration duties including purchase orders, invoices and receipting
- Records and database management, ensuring high integrity, accuracy and confidentiality
- Report on divisional and ministerial deliverables to ensure timely response to advice requests, correspondence and parliamentary documents
- Establish and maintain effective stakeholder relationships
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
- Ensure compliance with best practice and legislative requirements

**About You**
- Impeccable communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proactive, great attitude with a willingness to learn
- Superior organisational skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise conflicting deadlines
- Strong computer literacy skills and proficiency with MS Office suite & CM9

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrated Secretariat, Administration or Business Support experience
- Energy, Environment or Public Sector experience, advantageous
- Exposure to Ministerial correspondence highly advantageous
- Previous experience working within a high pressure and complex environment
- Reliable remote internet access to work remotely from home
- Ability to commence and commit to the duration of the assignment
