We are currently seeking a Project Manager to join our team in Darwin for the successful delivery of project outcomes across the Darwin Correctional Precinct.
This role involves planning, executing, and controlling all aspects of ongoing and new projects, either directly or through delegation with the on-site facility team. Successful delivery requires monitoring and controlling deliverables, work schedules, and resources (internal and external) while managing project stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and submit accurate forecasting for capital and lifecycle works in conjunction with the Contract Manager.
* Ensure project timeframes and scope are maintained, managing stakeholder engagement to avoid deviations.
* Represent Honeywell in discussions and negotiations with stakeholders, consultants, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure project deliverables and outcomes.
* Ensure the Project Team adheres to high standards of Health and Safety management required by Honeywell and our customers.
Key Experience & Capabilities
* BSc, Engineering, project management degree, or equivalent technical or management experience.
* Excellent computer skills.
* Ability to obtain clearance to work in a prison environment (essential).
* Proven experience in project management.
* Working knowledge of the construction industry and understanding of multiple trade disciplines.
* Experience working on large commercial sites or correctional facilities is preferred.
