About the Role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Payroll & Finance Officer to join. The role will be responsible for the accurate and timely processing of payroll while also providing broader support across the finance team.
Responsibilities
- Processing end-to-end payroll on a fortnightly basis
- Maintaining and administering the payroll and time and attendance system
- Processing new starter and termination paperwork
- Liaising with internal and external stakeholders for payroll queries and resolutions.
- Providing support to the wider finance team
- General bookkeeping and data management tasks as required
- Preparing reports and reconciliations
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations
- Assist with audits as required
Ideal applicant
- At least 2 years demonstrated experience processing end-to-end payroll - ADP is highly regarded
- Experience maintaining and administering time and attendance systems - Deputy is highly regarded
- Ability to interpret awards, enterprise agreements and employment contracts
- Effective time management & organisational skills
- Ability to work autonomously
- Sound verbal and written communication skills
- Understanding of employment legislations, regulations and awards
