About the Role:
This role requires an identified Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander person who has a deep understanding of the needs and challenges faced by their community. The successful candidate will have a strong track record of developing and maintaining relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
The ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate their expertise in program development and delivery, with a particular focus on culturally sensitive practices. They will also possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide direct input to the development of Community and Custodial priorities and plans, reflecting the objectives of the Youth Justice Aboriginal Strategic Directions (ASD).
* Facilitate the identification of resources and personnel to enhance effective practice with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people involved in the justice system.
