About the Role
We're seeking a dedicated Disability Support Worker to join our supportive team in Parklea working a minimum of 45 hours per fortnight. In this role, you'll assist a group of clients with intellectual disabilities who live together in a shared home. They enjoy engaging in creative and sensory activities, cooking, spending time with loved ones and getting out into the community. You'll be a key part of helping them achieve greater independence and joy in their daily lives.
Key responsibilities include:
* Deliver active support aligned with each client's goals and support plan
* Assist with daily personal care tasks (e.g., toileting, showering, dressing)
* Use safe manual handling techniques in accordance with individual plans
* Facilitate community access and transport using Unisson vehicles or public transport
* Build trusted relationships with clients, families and external stakeholders
* Maintain accurate documentation, reports and records
* Work collaboratively within a close-knit team
* Respond appropriately to incidents in line with Unisson and NDIS guidelines

Week 1 – TOTAL 22 Hours
Monday: No Shift
Tuesday: 4pm - 10pm - Sentry Dr - 6 Hours
Wednesday: 4pm - 10pm - Sentry Dr - 6 Hours
Thursday: 4pm - 10pm - Sentry Dr - 6 Hours
Friday: No Shift
Saturday: 3pm – 7pm – Sentry Dr - 4 Hours
Sunday: No Shift
Week 2 – Total 23 Hours
Monday: 7am - 2pm - Sentry Dr - 7 Hours
Tuesday: 4pm - 10pm - Sentry Dr - 6 Hours
Wednesday: 4pm - 10pm - Sentry Dr - 6 Hours
Thursday: No Shift
Friday: No Shift
Saturday: No Shift
Sunday: 3pm – 7pm – Sentry Dr - 4 Hours
Who We're Looking For
* Willing to work, active night, weekend, and public holiday shifts
* Hold a valid NSW Driver's Licence (P2/full) and are confident driving Unisson vehicles
* Energetic, compassionate, and emotionally resilient
* Experienced in disability support (preferred)
* Qualified with Cert III/IV in Disability (desirable)
