As Landscape Management Officer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of these vital landscapes, ensuring our parks and open spaces meet the evolving needs of a growing community.

This role will provide strategic leadership for the City's landscape assets, ensure the provision of appropriate facilities, oversee capital renewal programs, uphold best practice standards for public amenities, and lead landscape planning and management projects through professional guidance and cross-departmental collaboration.

**What can you bring to the team?**
- Bachelor in Landscape Management, Natural Resource Management, Landscape Architecture, Design or other relevant discipline (or significant progress towards the completion of such a degree)
- Training in Open Space asset management, park design, construction, and/or experience in a similar role
- Five+ years of experience in landscape management, with asset management, design, planning, or construction roles highly valued.
- Experience in park and open space facility planning, asset management plan implementation and capital works programming.
- Developed skills in project management including engagement of specialist consultants and contractors, preparation of business cases, project scopes and costings in preparation for delivery.
- Familiarity with activity-based costing, financial reporting, and project budgeting.
- Skilled in using computerised asset management, financial and business systems as well as Microsoft Office, and Excel (experience in GIS and spatial data management desirable).

**The finer details**

This fulltime Level seven position attracts a pro-rata salary range of $105,124 to $111,701 gross per annum dependent on qualifications and experience. We are committed to creating a diverse and inclusive workforce.
