The APS3 Participant Support Officer is responsible for providing front-line service delivery in the National Delivery Division Branch.
This position is an hourly rate contract until further notice, with a strong possibility of extension.
About the Role:
The successful candidate will be a team member responsible for setting priorities and managing workflow.
The role involves undertaking procedural, clerical, administrative support, and operational tasks, including basic research and analysis activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Resolve participant matters by actioning planning tasks as per relevant procedures.
* Provide counter/reception support for local offices, including participant enquiries and online support.
* Respond to customer enquiries and provide information or refer customers to appropriate services.
* Manage shared email inboxes, appointments, and telephone enquiries.
* Coordinate appointments and ensure facilities are accessible.
* Conduct research and investigation activities and prepare reports and correspondence.
* Complete data entry activities and follow up on outstanding tasks.
* Receive and record complaints and feedback in business systems.
About You:
* Australian citizenship is required.
* Previous experience in Government or Disability is advantageous.
* Ability to work effectively in a team and manage conflict.
* Initiative and ability to work independently.
* Capacity to learn new systems and processes.
