Housekeeping Assistant The closing date is 08 December **** We are looking to recruit a part time Housekeeping Assistant for Wilton Health Centre, located in Salisbury.
We have one permanent position available: 10 hours per week (Mon - Fri, ) The successful candidate will be responsible for achieving a high standard of cleanliness in a clinical environment and also non clinical areas throughout the premises, ensuring that a clean, safe and comfortable environment is maintained.
Full on site training is provided and PPE provision is also included.

Main duties of the job To undertake cleaning duties throughout the health care premises, which may include clinical departments, offices, kitchens, sanitary and communal areas.
To empty, clean and re line general and clinical waste bins, segregating waste for disposal to appropriate holding bins.
To replenish supplies of soap, toilet rolls, paper towels etc.
Job responsibilities To arrange furniture and equipment for various classes, clinics and return to normal order after use.
To undertake periodic cleaning maintenance of carpets and other floor surfaces and planned and ad hoc curtain changing as required.
To maintain departmental records where appropriate, such as refrigeration temperatures, flushing and W/C cleaning forms.
To use all cleaning materials in accordance with manufacturers instructions and departmental procedures, storing safely and securely when not in use.
