Your role
Responsibilities
* Participating in a 2-year program focused on contributing to and assisting in the development and continual improvement of Environmental Management Systems.
* Engaging in both practical and office-based work, with mentoring and guidance from experienced mining professionals.
* Collaborating with teams to ensure environmental compliance and best practices.
* Supporting the company's vision of building a sustainable and profitable gold business.
About you
Qualifications
* Tertiary qualification in an environmental discipline.
* Practical experience or vacation work (advantageous).
* Strong computer literacy skills.
* Excellent communication skills with all levels of operation.
* A current and valid Manual Driver's Licence.
* National Police Clearance valid within the last 12 months.
* Ability to pass Westgold's pre-employment process, including medical and drug and alcohol screening, right to work checks, and provision of a valid Australian national police clearance and driver's licence (or ability to obtain).
