An exceptional opportunity has arisen for a high-calibre Fund Accountant to join a rapidly growing private property investment business managing approximately $5 billion in assets.
This is not a traditional fund admin role. This is a genuine in-house funds position within a lean, high-performing team where you will take ownership of multiple trusts and play a key role in the continued scaling of the platform.

The Role
This is a true fund-level role.
You will take responsibility for approximately 10–11 trust P&Ls, consolidating underlying property-level accounts and ensuring accurate, timely and well-controlled financial reporting.
Key responsibilities include:
Fund-level financial and management accounting for multiple unit trusts
Consolidation of property P&Ls (including review of externally managed accounts)
Oversight and review of outsourced property accounting
Monthly reconciliations and financial reporting
Preparation and review of annual financial statements
Oversight of BAS, tax and compliance processes
Distribution calculations and trust-level reporting
Board reporting and covenant monitoring
Cash flow management and banking relationships
Supporting new fund establishment and structural setup
About You
We are seeking a technically strong, commercially aware accountant who wants exposure and responsibility within a growing private platform.
Ideal background:
5–8 years' accounting experience
CA/CPA qualified
Experience in property funds, real estate investment or similar
Exposure to trust structures and fund-level accounting
Retail property experience highly regarded
Strong understanding of financial controls and compliance
You will also demonstrate:

Confidence reviewing outsourced work
High attention to detail
Initiative and accountability
Comfort operating in a fast-moving environment
