Redpath Partners are proud to be partnering with Service Stream to assist them in recruiting a Bid Manager for their Defence & Social Infrastructure division. This role can be based in either Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
Service Stream is a leading national service provider who develop and operate Australia's essential communications, energy and water networks in the telecommunications, utilities and transport industries. They specialise in the design, construction and maintenance of new and existing networks and deliver end-to-end engineering and asset management solutions on behalf of their clients.
**About The Role**
Service Stream's Defence & Social Infrastructure division is seeking an experienced Bid Manager to lead the development and management of high-quality proposals and bid responses for new and exciting projects.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to strategize, write and produce persuasive bids and proposals that align with Service Stream Defence & Social Infrastructure business objectives.
Your role will involve overseeing the entire proposal process, from initial planning to final submission.
**Key Responsibilities**
- Lead the development of bids and proposals related to facilities maintenance projects throughout the entire process, including planning, delivery, and post-submission phases.
- Collaborate with the General Manager, Business Development Manager, and functional managers to conduct bid strategy workshops, establish win themes, and craft key messages
- Review and evaluate Requests for Proposals and other bid opportunities to determine feasibility and alignment with company objectives
**About You**
- Experience within the Defence and Social Infrastructure or allied facilities maintenance organisations is highly desirable
- Significant experience in bid management working with proposal teams
- Extensive experience in tendering and coordinating several concurrent tenders, ideally from utilities, infrastructure and/or Defence industries
- Client Management skills
- Business, Commerce, Engineering experience is advantageous
