**Department Leadership Opportunity**
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a department and driving the development of educational resources that support quality outcomes for learners.
Key responsibilities include:
* Developing and implementing curriculum resources that meet the needs of diverse learners, including those from First Nations backgrounds, children and young persons with disabilities, and those in out-of-home care.
* Liaising with stakeholders across government agencies and the broader community to ensure the development and use of resources are culturally appropriate and tailored to meet learner needs.
* Providing related training and professional development on the use of these resources to youth justice officers.
The ideal applicant will demonstrate:
* Strong written and interpersonal communication skills, with experience in curriculum resource development and implementation.
* Ability to meet the needs of diverse learners and work effectively with stakeholders from diverse backgrounds.
* Flexibility to work autonomously and collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.
* Knowledge of relevant legislative requirements, policies, and procedures.
