Synergy is trusted by Government clients large and small to provide strategic advice, and program and project management services. We are looking to grow our Project Controls capability, particularly with Cost Estimators experienced in Defence Major Capital Equipment cost estimate development. We have positions available at the
**Manager and Senior Manager** levels. In these roles, your responsibilities may include working with Australian Government clients in the Defence and National Security sectors to:
- Develop and manage cost estimates for Major Capital Equipment, across the Capability Life Cycle;
- Undertake cost modelling, cost analysis, and cost assurance;
- Facilitate a proactive risk management approach to decision making.
You will bring to the role a strong interest and capability in cost estimation, including:
- Bachelor qualifications in a related field (highly desirable, but not mandatory)
- Demonstrated experience in Major Capital Equipment cost estimation
- Demonstrated experience working in an Australian Government environment, whether as an APS employee or consulting to Australian Government agencies
- Demonstrated strong written and oral communication skills, including ability to manage client communications in a professional and credible manner
- Strong analytical skills including ability to research and analyse complex issues.
- Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy and to high standards of quality.
- Ability to manage scope and timeline of multiple simultaneous assignments.
