Recruitment Specialist – Trades
Fixed Term Opportunity - 18 months
Newcastle, Hunter Valley or Brisbane based
We are seeking a highly motivated Recruitment Specialist to join our Divisional HR team. Reporting to the Director of Human Resources, you will provide timely, professional recruitment support to our coal mine sites across New South Wales and Queensland, in sourcing and acquiring Trade qualified talent. In addition, this role is responsible for assisting the Director of Human Resources with strategic workforce planning across various areas of the business.
Experienced with fast paced, high volume portfolios, you'll be responsible for coordinating and executing end to end recruitment for our Trade roles. You'll work closely with site based HR Teams and Hiring Managers to ensure a positive and efficient recruitment process, including:
* Sourcing: Attract top-tier Trade qualified talent via various channels.
* Screening: Assess candidate applications against role requirements.
* Candidate Experience: Foster a positive candidate experience through timely communication and support throughout the recruitment process.
* Administration Support: Execute administrative tasks, including maintaining the candidate database (Workday), scheduling interviews and responding to queries.
* Onboarding: Facilitate a seamless onboarding process for new hires, including reference checks, medicals and other pre-employment requirements.
With 7+ years general mining recruitment experience and preferably proven success in recruiting Trade Qualified talent in mining environments, you're in the detail and thrive on tight deadlines and competing priorities. Your strong customer service focus, sound verbal and written communication skills and ability to proactively engage with internal and external stakeholders, ensures quality recruitment outcomes.
