Walkers are one of Geelong's leading family owned and operated companies specialising in Plaster, Insulation, Cladding, Tiles and Bathware Sales. We are looking for a driven person, with a versatile skill range to join our Trade team in this full time position.
We are seeking an energetic team player who is highly organised and well presented. The ability to identify opportunities and build new relationships is paramount to your success in this role, as is your strong time co-ordination skills and attention to detail. This is a hybrid position across Trade Sales and also in the Warehouse.
The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate:
* Exceptional customer service standards and ability to build long lasting customer relationships - essential
* Proven track record of achieving sales targets - essential
* Ability to self motivate and motivate others
* Work closely with the delivery team to ensure Walkers market leading service is achieved. Some manual handling of goods is a job requirement.
* Experience in plasterboard / James Hardie and CSR Cemintel cladding - preferred
A forklift licence is preferred although not essential. Previous sales experience in the construction industry is highly desirable.
