Based at Wallsend Health Campus, this role is integral to ensuring quality safe patient care is provided across a range of services including the Transitional Aged Care Program, Community Dementia Nurse team and Dementia Advisory ServiceAs the primary interface between senior managers of the service and front-line staff you will be required to support two-way communication through the organisational hierarchy, oversee the day-to-day management of the community service, and work closely with other Nurse Managers, Nurse Unit Managers, multidisciplinary teams and the Director of Nursing.About The RoleThis is an excellent opportunity for a Nurse Manager with the ability to: lead, direct and co-ordinate client care; ensure the practice of nursing is safe and efficient, maintaining standards of care through continual quality improvement initiatives; lead and coordinate the nursing and multidisciplinary care team, and monitor and manage the business and management functions and processes of the service.
