Job Title: Road Worker – Sealed Roads
About the Role:
The successful candidate will have accreditations and experience relating to general road maintenance or civil construction, the ability to use heavy equipment, and be able to work effectively and safely as part of a team.
This is an opportunity to work in a variety of different environments including roads, highways, airports and other public spaces. You will be working as part of a team to undertake a range of civil construction and infrastructure maintenance works across the shire.
Key Responsibilities:
* Safe and efficient operation of a range of plant associated with sealed roads maintenance and construction activities
* Proven experience in different seal applications and maintenance practices associated with sealed roads
* Maintaining quality standards, and obtaining good quality outcomes for the works being performed
* Undertaking a daily vehicle safety check prior to each day's work
