About the role
The primary purpose of this position is to lead a program of research within the Developmental Neurobiology Stream at the Queensland Centre for Mental Health Research (QCMHR) which is a complex, multi-site, multi-organisational unit. The role features technical, research, education and management responsibilities.
About you
- A PhD in the field of developmental neurobiology, biostatistics, or other relevant area.
- Post-doctoral experience and demonstrated research productivity consistent with this experience.
- Demonstrated thorough understanding of the required research processes.
- Demonstrated research, analysis and writing skills.
- Demonstrated high-level interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- Demonstrated knowledge of developmental neurobiology and current relevant research issues.

**Mandatory Requirements**:

- Vaccinated against, and remain vaccinated against, certain vaccine preventable diseases (VPD) as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO. 01/16
- Vaccinated against COVID-19 as outlined in the Health Employment Directive NO.12/21and the Queensland Health Human Resources Policy B70.
