Responsibilities
* Teach middle school mathematics and/or science with sound knowledge of secondary schooling and appropriate pedagogy for successful student outcomes.
* Be able to respond positively to the pressures of a modern classroom and set high standards for student learning and personal performance.
* Participate in pastoral care, the College's co-curricular programme, and support the Christian ethos of the College.
* Communicate effectively with a wide range of people, both verbally and in writing; manage administrative details of the position.
* Engage in school life at a level appropriate to your strengths; some roles may be solely Maths.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Tertiary qualifications in teaching and the identified subjects.
* Registered to teach in South Australia or eligible to obtain registration.
* Understanding of and commitment to Christian education.
* Ability to contribute to the school's pastoral care and co-curricular programmes.
* Demonstrated interpersonal skills with cultural sensitivity.
* Knowledge of equal opportunity and work safety principles.
