Job Title: Maintenance Worker
Maintenance workers are crucial to ensuring parks and public spaces remain safe, clean, and functional. In this role, you will be responsible for the upkeep and repair of various infrastructure and equipment within our park network.
* Maintain and repair all parks infrastructure and playground equipment
* Follow instructions from Crew Leader or Team Leader
* Operate light plant, machinery, and maintenance equipment safely
* Provide after-hours and weekend repairs as needed
* Ensure all work complies with safety and quality standards
Key Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* A Construction White Card
* A Manual Open Driver's Licence (MR Truck Licence desirable)
* Ability to pass pre-employment screening including drug & alcohol testing, National Police Check, Working with Children Check
* Strong communication skills, both oral and written
* Good interpersonal skills and ability to engage positively with community and team
* Effective time management and ability to work independently or in a team
