Project Controls Specialist
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of project controls principles and practices, with experience in scheduling tools such as Primavera P6 and MS Project. They will also have a solid grasp of cost control principles, forecasting, and Estimate at Completion methodologies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain project schedules across the full project portfolio, working closely with project schedulers to ensure seamless coordination.
* Collaborate with pricing, finance, subcontracts, and project managers to ensure cohesive project controls, driving efficiency and effectiveness throughout the project lifecycle.
* Manage and update project budgets, forecasts, and Estimates at Completion (EACs) in collaboration with project managers and finance teams.
* Monitor project performance metrics, identifying risks or deviations from plan and providing proactive recommendations for mitigation.
* Deliver regular reporting and analysis to stakeholders, including variance analysis and actionable insights.
* Prepare standard weekly, monthly, and quarterly reporting as required by leadership or for contract deliverables to clients.
* Foster integrated planning sessions with stakeholders on a regular basis, ensuring consistent use of project control tools and methodologies.
* Support the preparation of proposals and pricing strategies from a controls perspective, contributing valuable expertise to drive business growth.
* Evaluate health and safety practices and compliance at site and within the workplace, promoting a culture of safety and well-being.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
* Minimum essential proven experience in project controls, preferably within construction or infrastructure projects.
* Strong proficiency in scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and financial tracking systems.
* Solid understanding of cost control principles, forecasting, and EAC methodologies.
