About The Role
The Senior Manager / Manager will play a key role in delivering high-quality tax advisory and compliance services to a diverse client portfolio ASX Listed. You will provide expert advice on complex transactions, business structuring, and domestic and international tax matters, while ensuring clients meet their obligations effectively and efficiently.
As a trusted advisor and primary point of contact, you will manage engagements from start to finish, build strong client relationships, and mentor junior team members to maintain technical excellence and quality outcomes. Key Responsibilities
* Advise optimal tax position for client on complex transactions
* Provide verbal and written advice on tax related matters
* Calculate tax obligations for different business structures including companies, trusts and partnership entities
* Advise on indirect taxes
* Advise on international taxation transactions
* Advise on the planning opportunities for various business transactions
Desired Skills and Experience
* Minimum of a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field
* CA/ CPA qualification
* 8+ years' experience in corporate tax, ideally within public practice or professional services
* Strong technical knowledge in corporate tax compliance and advisory
* Experience advising on complex transactions and business structuring
* Ability to manage a client portfolio independently from start to finish
* Commercially minded with strong problem-solving skills
* Highly organised with the ability to manage competing priorities
* Committed to delivering high-quality client service within a collaborative team environment
