Curragh Mine is one of the largest open-cut coal mines in Queensland's Bowen Basin and located only 12 kilometres from the local township of Blackwater.

Role Overview
As the Leadership Support Officer, you'll play a pivotal role in providing efficient administrative support across Curragh North and Curragh South Mining Operations. You'll oversee daily administrative functions, coordinate the Administration team, and ensure operations run smoothly. You'll also provide confidential and proactive support to the Vice President, Operations Queensland, and the broader Curragh Complex Leadership Team, helping to drive operational success.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide high-level administrative support to the Vice President, Operations Queensland, including diary management, travel arrangements, meeting coordination, and document preparation.
* Lead, mentor, and develop the site-based Administration team, ensuring coverage, guidance, and professional growth opportunities.
* Collate Monthly Presentation Review and Quarterly Presentation Review slide packs for presentation to the Executive team.
* Manage and coordinate Board and VIP visits, ensuring seamless execution and professional representation of the site.
* Collaborate with department leaders to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and align administrative support with operational priorities.
* Manage key operational programs such as the uniform contract, community partnerships, sponsorships, and internal communications (including social media input).
* Identify opportunities to automate, enhance, and innovate business processes, leveraging technology to improve accuracy and productivity.
* Foster strong relationships across the leadership team, promoting clear communication, proactive problem-solving, and a safe, positive work environment.

About You

* Associate degree or equivalent experience in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.
* Proven experience in administrative leadership or supervision, ideally within the mining industry.
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and Teams, including SharePoint, FPE, Scenario, and SAP.
* Demonstrated experience in a similar administrative or leadership role.
