Role Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work as an Orthoptist in a dynamic and patient-centred environment, providing specialist care to children with acute and chronic conditions.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality ophthalmic care, investigating and managing paediatric ophthalmology and ocular motility conditions, and contributing to the effective operation of outpatient clinics.
\
Key requirements include a degree or Master's Degree qualification in Orthoptics, registration with the Australian Orthoptic Board, and experience in paediatric ophthalmology.

This role requires strong written and oral communication skills, the ability to develop effective working relationships, and high-level analytical skills.

Apart from the standard qualifications and skills, the ideal candidate will have experience with a range of orthoptic assessment procedures.
