We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Youth Care Professional.
As a part-time youth worker, you will play a vital role in supporting young people with their education, medical appointments, family contact, social and cultural connections, positive living skills, and budgeting. Your efforts will enhance the development of self-regard, community inclusion, and family relationships.
* You will provide support to children and young people using a therapeutic and trauma-informed approach.
* Transportation services will be provided to facilitate school attendance, appointments, and community access, as well as in-home support.
* As part of our collaborative team, you will work together to help young people achieve their personal goals.
* Good hygiene and nutrition practices will be promoted among the young people.
* Daily case notes, administrative tasks, and incident reports will be completed.
* Participation in individual and group supervision is mandatory.
Must be flexible in availability for weekday shifts. We seek an ideal candidate who:

The following qualifications and requirements must be met:
* Hold a Certificate IV or higher qualification in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Youth Services, Community Services, or similar fields.
* Currently hold a paid Blue Card or have applied for one.
* Completed a Child Safety Personal History Check (LCS2).
* Have completed the Hope and Healing Framework training.
* Possess a valid driver's license (Green provisional plates or higher).
* Be able to provide two recent references.
* A COVID-19 vaccination requirement applies to this role - evidence of vaccination status must be provided prior to commencing employment.
* Flexibility to cover planned and emergency shifts, weekdays, and weekend shifts, with the majority of shifts occurring on weekday afternoons.
