We are seeking several experienced Project Managers for a large modernisation ICT project. You will take a lead role working closely with program, technical and executive stakeholders.
You will also assist in developing strategic roadmaps to support executive decision making. to deliver across business, technical, infrastructure and services. You will also assist in developing strategic roadmaps to support executive decision making.
These roles require you to have worked in a transformation/modernisation programme in a DevOps, Azure and Cloud environment.
You MUST also be able to work in the Canberra office 2 - 3 days per week.
Key Duties:
* Development of foundational project artefacts
* Development, management and tracking of the project schedule
* Monitor and control the project budget
* Management of team members and activities
* Actively manage project risks
* Comply with PM&C project management standards
* Produce reports and support for project control and governance
* Other duties as directed by the Buyer
The Must Haves:
* Demonstrated ability to lead and manage ICT projects from inception to completion, with a track record of delivering projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
* Strong leadership abilities with experience in managing diverse project teams, and experience managing cross-functional teams and working with stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
* Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to anticipate risks, identify solutions, overcome challenges and the ability to think strategically and align project goals with business objectives.
* Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - ability to communicate effectively with senior leadership, clients, and stakeholders, ensuring alignment.
* In-depth knowledge and practical experience with project management methodologies such as Agile, Scrum, PRINCE2, MSP. A strong understanding of project governance, risk management practices, and financial management.
You MUST be an Australian Citizen and hold a minimum of an NV1 Security Clearance to be considered for these roles.
