About the Role
We are seeking a skilled professional to contribute to the management of our community tenure portfolio, focusing on the effective delivery of facility management services for tenanted community and sporting assets.
The successful incumbent will deliver operational facility management for our tenanted asset portfolio, conduct property inspections, building condition audits, and entry/exit reports to maintain accurate asset data.
Additionally, they will support the development and delivery of our 10-year capital plans and annual preventative maintenance programs for community facilities. Ensuring statutory maintenance programs are completed and facilities comply with codes for fire safety, back-flow prevention, electrical testing, and other contractual obligations is also key to this role.
This position requires strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as business acumen with experience in budgets, process improvements, and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver operational facility management for Council's tenanted asset portfolio, focusing on community and sporting facilities.
* Conduct property inspections, building condition audits, and entry/exit reports to maintain accurate asset data.
* Support development and delivery of Council's 10-year capital plans and annual preventative maintenance programs for community facilities.
* Ensure statutory maintenance programs are completed and facilities comply with codes for fire safety, back-flow prevention, electrical testing, and other contractual obligations.
Requirements:
* Diploma in Business Administration, Building and Construction or Facilities Management, or equivalent experience (trade qualification desirable).
* Ability to obtain and maintain a Fire Safety Advisor Qualification, with experience in property portfolio management and inspections.
* Knowledge of property management and community leasing legislation, including public sector land management requirements.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a customer focus.
* Business acumen with experience in budgets, process improvements, and operational efficiency.
