The Position
This position is responsible for assisting with the maintenance and development of arboriculture (tree) assets within our streets, parks, reserves and landscapes across our City.
Tasks and responsibilities
* Assist with the coordination and distribution of Customer Service Requests pertaining to all aspects of arboriculture development and maintenance.
* Provide assistance with the management and associated purchasing protocols including the annual street tree replacement program.
* Provide support with the coordination and maintenance of the tree management database.
* Provide advice on landscape designs and arboriculture projects.
* Assist with the completion of Vegetation Removal Permits (VRP).
Qualifications and experience
* Minimum Certificate III in Arboriculture and/or extensive relevant industry experience
* Construction Induction Card
Hours
Based on a 38 hour week, with actual days and times being Monday to Friday, 7:00am to 4:00pm, with an RDO in accordance with AlburyCity's RDO guidelines. These times may vary due to operational requirements and will be determined by the supervisor.
Live and work in aculture-rich location minutesfrom the Murray River, just a short drive to one of Victoria's best wine regions andwiththe ski fields so close you will be zooming downthe mountains in under two hours.
