About the Role
As a Member Experience Officer at People First Bank, you will be the face of our business, delivering consistently high‐quality customer service and supporting customers throughout their financial journeys.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist customers with transactional needs and enquiries to make banking easy.
* Engage in quality in‐depth conversations to identify suitable solutions for individual customer needs.
* Build deep and meaningful relationships to assist customers in achieving long‐term financial goals and, where appropriate, refer them to our lending specialists.
* Support customers in utilising digital services to enhance their banking experience.
* Prioritise and complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
* Navigate multiple contemporary systems and software programs.
* Collaborate with the branch team to contribute to a successful branch.
Qualifications
* Communicate with empathy and clarity.
* Genuinely enjoy helping people by providing positive customer service experiences.
* Have cash‐handling experience.
* Feel comfortable learning new digital systems.
* Have experience in customer service.
Eligibility & Training
No banking experience is required; we provide thorough, ongoing training. The first six weeks of employment may involve full‐time hours to complete the initial training requirements.
Working Hours & Schedule
Permanent part‐time: 38 hours per fortnight. Rosters: Monday 9:15 am–4:15 pm, Thursday 9:30 am–4:00 pm, Friday 9:15 am–4:15 pm, and a Saturday morning shift (8:45 am–12:15 pm) once every six weeks.
