Overview
Facilities & Campus Services (FCS) provides a responsive, integrated and customer-orientated service that supports the physical environments for students and staff, aiding their teaching, learning, research and administrative needs. Our purpose is to provide fit-for-purpose and innovative planning and delivery services that contribute to the success of ECU as a vibrant and progressive University.
FCS principally comprises Facilities, Projects, Space, and Campus services. The Facilities team are responsible for ensuring the efficient maintenance and operation of the University's facilities. This includes managing maintenance contracts, conducting condition audits, and providing technical support for various projects to meet the strategic goals and legislative requirements of the University.
The Role
You will play a pivotal part in supporting the Mechanical Services Technical Contract Manager, by administering and monitoring our maintenance contracts, ensuring compliance with industry standards, and providing technical advice for both minor and capital projects. You will assist in the completion of condition audits and the preparation of preventative maintenance plans, contributing to the efficient maintenance of our facilities. This position involves collaboration with various stakeholders to ensure the University’s infrastructure meets strategic goals and legislative requirements.
Skills & Experience
Trade qualification in a relevant mechanical services discipline or equivalent experience.
Extensive experience in building maintenance services within large facilities.
Solid understanding of maintenance procedures.
Proficiency in using computerized maintenance management systems.
Strong customer service skills.
Ability to work cooperatively with others.
Adaptability to changing environments.

Benefits & Remuneration
This full time, ongoing role, attracts remuneration of $107,774 to $116,243 p.a. inclusive of 17% University superannuation contribution.
