About the Role
Join a passionate and progressive Geelong based team as an experienced Site Manager, supporting the delivery of commercial construction projects during an exciting growth phase. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering projects safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
Key Responsibilities - Responsibilities associated with this position include, but are not limited to;
· Manage and supervise day-to-day site operations across commercial construction projects
· Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams to achieve programme milestones
· Ensure compliance with HSEQ/OHS systems and SWMS
· Conduct site walks, toolbox talks, safety audits, inspections and observation reporting
· Monitor project quality, defects, workmanship, and quality assurance processes
· Drive programme performance, productivity, and procurement schedules
· Maintain strong communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and project stakeholders
· Review drawings, specifications, and identify constructability issues
· Monitor site budgets, preliminaries, and site-related expenditure
· Ensure projects are delivered on time and to client expectations
· Support and lead site teams through clear direction, accountability, and collaboration
Skills & Experience
The successful candidate must have;
· At least 5 years proven experience as a genuine Site Manager within a commercial construction environment
· Experience with commercial new builds, with a proven track record from concept to completion.
· Strong understanding of construction methodology, safety legislation, and QA systems
· Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications
· Excellent leadership, communication, and organisational skills
· Strong focus on safety, quality, and programme delivery
· Experience managing subcontractors, site teams, and client relationships
